With the special Computer- and PLUG-iN (extention for the KN7000 operation system) software your Technics SX-KN7000 will grow to a real part of your music communications system.
 

Music Data Base Converter

In cooperation with Technics we programmed a Freeware Software called MBDC to load all versions of previous HDD backup files (from HD-MEC2000, HD-HSO3000 (KN3500), HD-AE5000 and HD-SX6). Than the data structure will be converted an stored to a SD card (128MB or bigger).

• Read/Load backup data file (created from TechEditor Light, TechEditor96, HD-TechManger5000 or HD-TechManager6000)
• Edit data base (Load option, select all/single, select convert option)
• Generate new database file and store the file to the SD card

SD-TechManager7000 / 7001 as PLUG-iN version

As a fine and important supplement for your KN7000 with a bigger SD card the SD-TechManager7000 offer all the function to edit all the data files on your SC card (except SD Audio) a professional user need.
As same as all the previous Data Manager also the SD-TechManager7000 is a complete new pice of software. Because of data speed with the standard USB connetion on the KN7000, the SD-TechManager7000 only works in combination with the Panasonic USB SD card adapter.

• Backup with the same function as the previous TechManager
• Restore, fast and safe because of direct access to the SD card
• Tools like Copy Sound/Technics, Rename, Move, Edit Favorites/Song List/User Play List, Print and Delete

Many of the HD-AE5000/HD-SX6 user will miss compatibility of the Directory and Song structure as well as many other functions on the SD card system with the new KN7000.
This hasn't to be!
Based on our request, Technics reserved a certain memory area on the KN7000 and offered us a custom development intervace for the new PLUG-iN system. Now we are developing various PLUG-iN's (Basic PLUG-iN and Add-in's) to make your KN7000 more sophesticated and easy of use. These tools will be stored on a secured part of the Panasonic SD card (Starting with a 128MB card).
The following products are in developing:

• SP7001 System PLUG-iN (Basic PLUG-iN, including personal liberation and with almost the same function of HD-AE5000/HD-SX6)

• TLX7002 MIDI2TLX (Midi lyrics to TLX format on the KN7000)

• HW7003 Help-Workshop (Add your preferred help files incl. pictures and graphics all stored onthe SD card)

• TWB7004 Technics ??? (Other, interessting and unique PLUG-iN's are now in planning.)
